Cooking and shopping whilst living and studying in Italy provides another avenue through which to experience the daily life and culture of such a magnificent place.
This section of The Madison House Chef is designed to provide quick and easy recipes utilizing the fresh, local ingredients of Florence. It provides a ready resource for daily shopping and cooking and of course saves us from having to lug an entire suitcase of cookbooks to Italy. I’d much rather take that suitcase empty and return with it full of pasta, wooden spoons, and other culinary ‘goodies’ discovered during our stay.
