Each year we try to find some sort of cute and edible table decoration for Thanksgiving. Here’s a Thanksgiving tasty turkey table top treasure made with Oreo cookies, malted milk balls and candy corn.
These were a hit!
Gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble…
OREO COOKIE TURKEY
Ingredients
Oreo cookies
malted milk balls
candy corn
red hot candies
1. Open an Oreo and place it in front of you cream side up. This is the base of the table decoration.
2. With a second Oreo cookie, gently press 4-7 candy corns into the cream at the edge of the cookie. These are the turkey feathers.
3. Cut a malted milk ball in half. Using the cream from another Oreo cookie center, “glue” the milk ball half to the front of Oreo with the candy corn feathers.
4. “Glue” with cream, a single red hot candy atop the milk ball. This is the gobbler.
5. Place the cookie with feathers upright on the open face Oreo cookie base.
