Here’s a fun and creative mini bite for bentos, dip, soup or simply for snacking.
Make or purchase fresh tortillas – the kind in the silver cooler are the best.
INGREDIENTS
fresh tortillas
Pam spray
seasonings (sea salt, fresh ground pepper, chili)
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
In stacks of 6 or 7, cut out shapes with mini cookie cutters.
Pull apart layers of tortilla and lay on a dry cookie sheet.
Spray with Pam cooking spray and season lightly with sea salt, pepper, chili, parmesan, or other favorite flavors.
Bake in oven for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, check to make certain that none are burning. Shake pan to loosen any that might be sticking.
Bake for an additional 5 minutes or until golden brown at the edges.
The tortillas will be crispy at the edges, put still tender (a little chewy even) in the middle.
Serve with your favorite dip, cheese, or soup.
