This was the second version of the granola bars. The texture is lighter and not quite as sticky as the first version due to the increase of the rice cereal and flour.

INGREDIENTS
2 C oats
2 C Rice Krispies
1 C flour
1/2 tsp salt
3 T butter, melted
1/2 C peanut butter
1/3 C honey
1/3 C water
1/2 C chocolate chips (optional)
DIRECTIONS
1. Grease or spray 9x13 pan.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
3. Combine all ingredients, except chocolates, in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly.
4. Fold in chocolate chips.
5. Firmly press dough into a 9x13 pan.
6. Bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes. It’s better to under bake them, than to over bake them.
7. Cool on a rack for 30 minutes, then cut into approximately 16 rectangular pieces.
