A vegetable with our pork chops for supper...?
Broccoli in the refrigerator. Great.
However...I'm kind of tired of steamed broccoli. Food confession --- I am tired of any vegetable that's steamed, with or without butter.
What to do?
Ah ha! Foodblogs.com -- search for a recipe for a new idea or two of how to make that broccoli in the refrigerator.

Broccoli and Almonds
2 ounces of almonds
2 T (2.25 ounces) butter
6 ounces of broccoli florets
3 ounces of orange juice
kosher salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
Melt and slightly brown butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
Add almonds to butter and toast lightly.
Add broccoli and saute for 2 minutes.
Add orange juice and continue to cook until broccoli is tender (but not overcooked). Note: If you are squeezing fresh orange juice, I would suggest adding some of the fresh orange zest.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Serve as a side dish or over rice as a main dish.
Be prepared to thumb wrestle for the last tablespoon of broccoli!
