Yum! Delicious!
Ken grilled this amazing burger to perfection creating a nice sear on the outside and a perfect medium-rare on the inside. As of late I've been partial to jalapenos on my burger, but this time it was olives a la Key Hole Bar in Mackinac City.
Can anybody remember what else Key Hole Bar puts on their olive burgers? I seem to remember a sauce or dressing, but I don't think that it was mayo.
The last time we were at the Key Hole Bar was when Gregory was just a few weeks old. We were having a mini-adventure and we stopped there to eat. We put his car seat on the table as we ate; he slept the entire time. I remember that we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express just south of the bridge and woke up the next morning with a note on our car from Dave. He and Dad had been on a snowmobile trek and passed by on their way back to the cottage. I still have the note...it's in Gregory's baby book.
